A very happy birthday
This morning, there was not a single square bale in this barn.
Today, I enjoyed my birthday, very much. After morning chores, Jim, grandpa, Johnny and me 'did hay', out in the fields. Clear blue sky. Turkey vultures circling around high up. Close to 30 degrees. Eating sand while riding on the empty or full hay wagons, to/from field or barn. Lunch at grandma's, with the humming birds enjoying their feeder outside. More tossing square bales around. And more. And more. Best drinks of water ever. After that, a beer, or two, and Sam's company, during milking. Pork chops for supper. Ice cream in Seaforth, just minutes before they close at 22.00, for desert. A hot shower. A report to you all.
Show in Stratford.

hey lady, happy birthday
my holyday starts ... now!
and your blog brings far away destinations within reach
Arja and i will sail and paddle around in Holland and the kids will enjoy the jamboree (scouting)
not going anywhere
after that, we will pack our tent and travel together to unknown places (Eastward)
after that, a whole new year and start waits ahead
both boys will start at a new school, one because he graduated, one because he failed; the younger and older girl will continue their efforts and hopefuly success, one (Arja) as an entrepreneur, and one as last years 'student' at her primary school
and I will start a new cycle of lessons, meet a new group of students, learn new insights from them
That looks/sounds simple and obvious, but i am happy to do it and enjoy my work
nice to meet you all here
will be back,
ben
